Alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and students of Oklahoma Christian University, mark your calendars and make plans to attend OC First Friday on April 4, 2008 at the Petroleum Club in Oklahoma City.

The OC First Friday program was created with two goals in mind: to engage our greatest asset, our alumni, in important issues affecting the quality of life in Oklahoma and to provide an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with each other and the university in a professional setting. If you've never attended an OC First Friday luncheon, why not make April your first time?

April's OC First Friday speaker is Oklahoma State Senator, Todd Lamb.

Senator Todd Lamb was elected to his first term in the Oklahoma Senate on November 2, 2004 by the voters of Senate district 47.   District 47 encompasses Northwest Oklahoma City and portions of Edmond and Deer Creek.  A few of the district’s landmarks are Oklahoma Christian, Mercy Hospital, Quail Springs Mall, Francis Tuttle Technology Center, and the Baptist Retirement Village.

Senator Lamb and his wife Monica have been married 10 years and have two children, Griffin and Lauren.  The Lambs are active members of Quail Springs Baptist Church and other civic and political organizations.  He was a recipient of the OKCBusiness Forty Under 40 Award for 2005. Senator Lamb is also a member of the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Athletic Association and officiates high school football.  In Senator Lamb’s spare time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, reading, and spending time with his family.
